Creditor Fraud (creditorfraud.com) is a free consumer-education site. It explains, in plain English, how to tell a real debt collector from a scam, and points you to the official agencies that handle complaints. It’s published by Anthony Hernandez / House Of Biz & Company in Chicago, Illinois.

• We are not a debt collector, a credit repair company, or a debt relief company, and we don’t negotiate or settle debts.
• We are not a government agency and are not affiliated with the CFPB, the FTC, the Illinois Attorney General, or IDFPR.

How the site is funded

The site links to our own paid guide, Before You Pay. If we add advertising in the future, ads will be clearly labeled and we’ll update the privacy policy first.
